Sitting to Take a Stand

Support women’s participation in computing and technology.

Why?

Sit With Me invites everyone to validate and recognize the important role women play in creating future technology by taking a small but symbolic action: sit in a red chair and share your story.

Quotable

“THE RED CHAIR…it was so wonderful, it gets capital letters! was the perfect feature to include. The young ladies got the sense that their passion for technology is truly needed in the world.”

About Sit with Me

With its iconic red chair, SWM events allow everyone to participate in a meaningful conversation about the power of inclusion, which might otherwise be intimidating.
